Enjoyable 2007 Reunion at Fort Wayne

The most recent Sackett family gathering, which took place at Fort Wayne, Indiana, in August 2007, was much enjoyed by those attending, as described in Glenna Hertzler's report.

Plans for the 2008 Reunion in England

Plans for this year's Sackett Family Gathering to be held in Kent, England, have been announced.

Core dates for the event are Wednesday 17 to Sunday 21 September 2008. The program will include a reception by the local Mayor, a tour of St Peter's Village in Thanet, a visit to Sackett's Hill, as well as ample opportunity for visiting with cousins. Members wishing to participate in all events and have some time for their own sightseeing or other visits will wish to arrive before and/or leave later than the core dates.

2009 Reunion U.S. west coast

The 2009 Sackett Family Reunion is being planned to be held on the U.S. west coast, in California or Washington State.

Reunions have been held in the Midwest, north, and east, and the aim is to hold reunions in different parts of the country to give members the opportunity to attend a nearer event. Ted Smith and Thurmon King are considering locations. They will be pleased to receive comments, suggestions, or offers of help.
